“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort which we ourselves are comforted by God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NKJV)

Today I share the verse above praying for comfort for Charlie’s wife, children, and all those close to him. I am shocked and appalled at the news today of his passing due to a deranged person who likely targeted Charlie because of differing political beliefs.
Charlie is not new to attacks and hate from political opponents and overall just the average person that is either ultra-left or hasn’t had time to even listen or take time to understand Charlie. Many know him as a hardworking member of the Republican party who felt refreshed by the hope the MAGA movement carried and hoped this movement would bring America back to it’s core values of God, family and country. Others don’t know of his value but maybe only know him as another Right-Wing prop or personality who is hateful and part of so called ‘white-supremacy’.
As someone who has been following Charlie Kirk’s on and off for the past 5 or 6 years. I was trying to think of what to say, I am really at a loss and really wondering if this post even matters but as I write anyway, I have realised me writing this is a testament of this man’s impact and legacy: That a faceless person from far away (non-American) not only knows about him but often I have agreed with him and subscribed to his content on different platforms because of the way he speaks and presents himself. Of all the adjectives people can give this man, ultimately he was a man that spoke a lot of truth and the word of truth resonates with those who are for truth and rassles those who are far from it and who find comfort in lies. The truth annoys and convicts those who propagate and endorse lies and the defenders of lies I believe attacked this wonderful Christian man today.
Charlie has had a long and successful career though only being 31, but strip away the impressive ties in politics, the places he has worked, rooms he has been in and the organizations he has built and helped establish and really his success was in being a bold man of God with a mic who was not afraid to challenge America’s thinking, especially the youth of America.
Rest in peace to Charlee and may peace be with your family always. Amen.
