We must be Sober and Alert
With all this war and rumours of a Third World War, we have to be sober and alert more than ever before. Watching and praying for the Russians, Ukrainians, Israelis, Palestinians, all of the Middle East, the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
It’s no secret that the critical thinkers have been labelled ‘conspiracy theorists’ over the past couple of years (since 2020 Covid era) for simply asking questions and not only thinking how they were directed to by authorities and media. Never before have we been so close to ‘1984’1 where we are encouraged to engage in ‘groupthink’2 and to reject challenging the mainstream.
Leftist3 activists and their deep-state4 backers have been on a mission to destabilize the country through any means necessary: open borders, rampant unpunished crime in major cities, censorship and the persecution of political opponents. They impose their beliefs in the public square (namely the cult-like alphabet5 agenda), while rejecting and defaming others for voicing their own beliefs, in other words, claiming their rights and freedoms while denying others of theirs (and being especially hostile Christian Conservatives).
Those with eyes can see the writing on the wall, it’s an attack on America (USA) stemmed from a hatred of everything it once stood for; freedom, strength, success and placing value on family, country and God.
It’s also not just about the United States, it’s about the converging chaos globally, it’s about taking down Western Europe as well as any country in any continent where the Left can sink their fangs into and plant their ideas. This is about the whole world because only when they (those who despise the current state of the world, it’s systems and people) destroy the nations, can they then re-build them in their own image and vision. That is to create their global dystopian One-World Government, which they are unwittingly preparing for the Anti-Christ6.
However, they have another thing coming if they think they can run over us flat with no resistance. No! There are still many many Christians and many non-believers who do not share their vision. There are people everywhere praying and chasing away the demonic factions that are behind what these men do and there many taking their position to do something against them, whether it’s the political class, business people, the youth or heads of families; different individuals who are for the Church along with the Church are rallying together against evil policies. We will not stand to live in a world of their making but they will live in our world!
Scripture:
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come [ the end is not yet]. 7 Nation will rise against nation [ethnic group, against ethnic group – civil war], and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains…14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
What we can take from the words from Jesus as a guide for what to prayer for or against:
1. There Will Be Deception – Exactly what is rampant in our society today. Our government lies to us, and our media and institutions lie to us: we have experts like doctors paid to manipulate results and lie, we have professors incentivized and taught to lie to their students – to confuse them about how the world works and to mix up what is right and wrong. We have reporters & journalists paid millions to follow a script while ignoring the real news.
These are all focuses for prayer: pray for our teachers and schools, for our government leaders at all levels, cast out demons of deception that fill our TV, radio and online programs…
2. Many Will appear To Be Saviours Who are Not – Christians all know about the Antichrist who will come pretending to be a hero but he is like a ‘final boss’ who will appear to bring peace but once in power it will be too late as the world realizes he has come to destroy… The Antichrist will come and do what he has to do, that is prophecy, but I believe this verse above also warns us of others who come into the scene and pretend to have the solutions to our problems like:
- Supranational and Governmental Organizations like the UN, EU, NATO, BRICS – If an organization like the UN could actually bring peace to the world, they would have done so a long time ago but decades after its creation along with it’s subsidiaries like the World Health Organization (WHO), IMF & UNICEF and there is still war, poverty, hunger and children in danger around the world.
- Non-governmental organizations like the World Economic Forum (WEF) – These are organizations pretend to want a better world but what they really want is a world of their imaginings, They just plan on creating new power structures, or ‘a new world order’ without actually solving anything.
- Multinational Corporations – basically companies big enough to affect the world. They often pretend to care about their products and their customers but they often don’t. Big companies that grow to be monopolies like to use their power for evil and it’s important to particularly pray for these types of major companies because they sell us our food, clothing, electronics and other essential items and services. When they turn evil it gets uglier than governments even (more stories on evil companies to come on this page).
- Governments – It seems redundant to tell someone to be weary of government and we all see the discussions online about ‘1984’ and dodgy dealings of governments and their operations (eg. Israel, Russia, CCP, USA & CIA), all of this discussion can make you believe that the world is woke (in the true sense of the word), you would think people know governments can be very deceptive but in everyday life I still meet and talk to people who foolishly trust. They forget that governments, media, the military, schools etc. are made up of people and people are flawed, therefore the institutions they build a flawed too. Government can’t save us, Jesus can, so we have to pray. It’s our job to pray for all men so that their imperfections don’t end up destroying them, it’s the role of the church to be a preserver on the earth. God expects us to act by praying first7 then taking other actions like reaching out to people with the good news.
3. There Will Be Various Conflicts, Civil Wars – We have to pray for the Nations to receive God’s mercy.
4. There Will Be Disasters (Natural & Unnatural) – We have to pray for people’s salvation and for their lives to be spared from disasters.
5. The Gospel Will Be Preached in Every Nation – This is indeed happening, in fact the fastest growing church today is in Iran8 and Afghanistan, as well as a growing underground church in China9. We must pray for the continued spread of the gospel everywhere.
6. Then the End – Only when everyone has heard the gospel, who is meant to hear it, will the end come, but for the Christian it’s a glorious end to the chapter here on earth and for those not saved it’s only the beginning of damnation. We must pray for many to escape eternal hell.
